Ropana means 'healing' in sanskrit.
We all live in such a yang busy world of doing and rarely take time to truly be still in the present moment.
By practicing with Ropana Yoga, you will learn to connect mind and body together through gentle,
grounding restorative yogic practices.
Practice
Yoga is more than just a set of physical poses (asanas) as we know it. Breathing and meditation are also hugely beneficial aspects of yoga for our body, mind and soul.
There are a huge variety of asanas which help stretch and strengthen the physical body but we are so much more than this.
Pranayama (breath) or life force encompasses a number of techniques each having different effects. When brought together with movement, it can become a calming, meditative practice which increases prana or life energies.
Through the disciplines yoga offers us, we can become free from suffering, often induced by ourselves following a more spiritual path leading towards inner peace /liberation/enlightenment or samadhi.
Yoga can be life changing and I welcome you with an open heart to share all I know.

Jo has been practicing yoga for eight years. She has been a practicing Physiotherapist for over ten years and a Holistic Therapist for six years.
She moved more recently into teaching yoga after it has such a profound life changing effect on her on all layers.. Jo feels yoga is the one practice that has enabled her to face the challenges of life off the mat and she wishes to share her passion with you.
She will hold a safe space for you, guiding you through a slow, restorative practice.
